Well, I'm home.
I am mad at my school right now. They installed a new fire alarm system, which is good I guess, except that for several weeks while I was away my room was unlocked for all to enter. Nothing appears missing yet, but my room is covered with installation mess, and they used my trash can to dump their stuff into.
Moreover, one of my classes was cancelled as of today (classes start tomorrow). I have not yet signed up for another class, and this potentially affects my work schedule significantly.
Also, waiting in my mail, is a bunch of new rules unfriendly to students. This school always seems to have a new administrative frustration. I am very unhappy. New rules, higher rent, larger class sizes, and higher tutition and fees means I am paying more and getting less than I did a year ago. On top of that, my sink and bed are full of broken tile and insulation.
Madness, just madness.
