Radio to the Power of XM
As many of you know, my job takes me to Ohio at least once per week. Therefore XM radio has really been a boon to me since receiving the receiver (ah, English) for Christmas. After the initial investment (which is significant) the $10 per month subscription has been very worth it.
Two pieces of advice: buy the optional radio transmitter; it's much better than the included device. Further, program all of the presets. There are so many channels, that something good is always on, you simply have to be able to quickly push a button and turn to it. Without the presets, the dial can be very slow and cumbersome.
James Taylor, Genesis, Metallica, Journey, Elton John, and several other notables were simultaneously playing on stations I had NOT preset last night. I was tired of my presets, so I had to add some more.
