I have been very busy this week, the substance of which I hope to reveal soon. If I don't, the assume it is dust and that I've wasted my time.
Blandus, less of a shotgun blogger than I, is putting up some good posts recently.
In Banned Books Week, ~TheAmber challenges Blandus with not just censorship, but with the same arrogance he charges to librarians. Not one to pull punches, he responds with fire. His humility was the first casualty, however, as "The Great Blandus" continues to thrown down. J.A. Cook (hello old friend!) and a newcomer try to reign him in. Is the man of might right? A good read . . . for the children, of course. Bob Golding takes a cue from that discussion, and puts forward a defense of teaching contraceptives to school children. Have conservatives missed the forest through the trees on this one? Does sex-ed really do a better job of accomplishing the conservative agenda than abstinence-only programs? I'd comment on the role of divorce in his European comparison, but Bob needs to change his blogger settings.
In Hardcore Modesty Blandus laments the pigs we have become (well, the pigs some of us have become, anyway).
In Republican Chicks Rock, Blandus reminds us that, well, Republican Chicks Rock. They do. SHempel rightly reminds us however that Republicans are becoming more like a bad rash. Hmmm.
Remember, dear friends, to fight the . . .
MADNESS!
